We founded Bitumen 2 Bush with one goal in mind: giving our customers a fair, rewarding and enjoyable shopping experience. Our store policies are detailed below, please have a look and contact us to learn more!

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.         LIABILITY

1.1.      The Company does not accept liability for any loss or damages caused by this website, or any website linked to this website.

1.2.      The Company Reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order at anytime without giving reason. We will make all reasonable effort to contact the customer using the details provided and all received monies will be refunded using the method received.


2.         ORDERING METHOD

2.1.      The Company’s website (www.bitumen2bush.com) offers on-line purchasing. Orders via phone, fax or email can also be accepted but are always subject to final confirmation of the Company’s management and may be cancelled at anytime.


3.         CURRENCY USED

3.1.      The Company’s nominated currency used for all transactions is Australian Dollars (AUD).

3.2.      All prices displayed on the Company's website will be in AUD and be inclusive of GST (Australian Domestic Goods and Services Tax).


4.         GST (Australian Domestic Goods and Services Tax).

4.1.      All Australian domestic customers and deliveries sent to Australian delivery addresses from the Company’s Website will be subject to Australian GST.

4.2.      The rate of Australian GST is 10%.


5.         SHIPPING RATES

5.1.      The Company will publish or display the current shipping rates on the websites as applicable.

5.2.      Shipping rates may vary and the free or fully discounted shipping may cease at any time at the discretion of the Company.

5.3.      The Company reserves the right to change any or all of the following, at any time:

5.3.1.   Shipping rates charged to any destination;

5.3.2.   Delivery methods;

5.3.3.   Carrier or shipping provider.


6.         SHIPPING WITHIN AUSTRALIA

6.1.      Full priced online orders for delivery within Australia are normally dispatched via Australia Post Standard Parcel Post and usually arrive within 2-5 business days from dispatch.

6.2.      Standard Shipping rates for deliveries within Australia are free for orders over $100.00 when delivered to addresses within Australia.

6.3.      Orders can be selected to be posted via Australia Post Express Post at an additional fee. Transit time for express deliveries is normally 1-3 business days depending on suburb of delivery.


8.         DISPATCH OF ORDERS

8.1.      Orders are normally dispatched within 1 business day of Order Confirmation subject to all ordered items being in stock.

8.2.      If any items cannot be fulfilled from your order the items will be deducted from your order prior to sending and your invoice adjusted accordingly.


9.       ACCEPTANCE OF GOODS

9.1.    On receiving the order the customer is responsible for inspecting the goods for fault or damage.

9.2.    Should the items ordered not be of acceptable quality, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify the Company, as soon as possible. Please see Returns Policy for more information.


10.       PRICING

10.1.    The Company reserves the right to change prices without notice.

10.2.    All prices and orders are displayed and processed in Australia Dollars (AUD) and will include Goods and Services Tax (10% GST) for all orders being delivered within Australia.


 
11.       GIFT CARDS

11.1.    The Company may from time to time make Gift Cards available on the website.

12.2.    Gift Cards when issued may be used online via the the Company websites.

11.2.    Gift Cards are treated by the Company as a financial instrument for payment for goods and services and operate on a deposit/withdrawal system as per industry standard practices. This means that the Company Gift Cards are provided as a free service to customers and do not constitute a purchase of goods and do not contribute toward the calculation of shipping costs or discounts.

11.3.    The Company Gift Cards are not considered as goods or services with a retail price and therefore:

11.3.1. They do not include GST;

11.3.2. They cannot be discounted and are not subject to any discounts.


12.       RETURNS OR EXCHANGES

12.1.    Refer to our Returns Policy which forms part of these terms and condition and which can be amended at any time without notice.


13.       RETURN OF GIFT WITH PURCHASE OR PROMOTIONAL ITEMS

13.1.    If your order is returned for refund and you have received a promotional item of gift with purchase, the item must also be returned in original condition; otherwise the retail price will be deducted from the refunded amount.

13.2.    If you wish to return purchased items but keep the promotional item we are happy to offer you an online credit note.

13.3.    There is no warranty or exchange on gift with purchase items and/or promotional products.


14.       ORDER CANCELLATIONS

14.1.    Orders may be cancelled only in the instance where the order has not yet reached the packing stage.


15.       TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS

15.1.    In the event that an item is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information, The Company reserves the right to withdraw an item from sale, and to refuse or cancel orders.

15.2.    The Company will make all reasonable effort to contact the customer using the details provided and all received monies will be refunded using the method received. This means that the credit card used to purchase the goods would be the destination of any credit that may be applicable.


16.       ARTICLES AND INFORMATION

The Company does not take any responsibility for information provided through its website including but not limited to the following forms: blogs, articles, information releases, recipes, training programs, media releases, topics of interest or events and it is up to individuals to assess the suitability of the information provided to their own individual circumstances.

RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

​

All returns (excluding clearance items) are eligible for a store credit, exchange or refund. Please note store credits are not transferable.

Please note that purchases must be returned by Australia Post Standard Parcel Post to allow postage costs to be deducted for all returns requiring a refund.

Items must be unworn or unused, and in original condition with tags attached. Items where the tags have been removed will not be accepted due to hygiene reasons.

For hygiene reasons we do not accept the return of accessories. This includes socks, underwear, hats, visors, headbands, wristbands and any other item potentially unhygienic for resale.

All clearance items purchased are final, and can not be returned.

Once we have received your returned item/s, please allow 5 business days for processing. You will be notified via email once processed. Our returns are sent via Australia Post Standard Parcel Post, and will be delivered in accordance with these shipping time frames.

Any return or exchange requests, once approved, will be notified of the applicable return address by return with approval notification and instructions. 

For all returns requesting a refund, request for refund request must be advised at time of notification. Refunds will be given via the method of payment of original purchase, and notification given once processed. 

If returning for an exchange, please specify which style you would like as a replacement when sending request. When you return an item for exchange, the postage of your new item will be covered by Bitumen 2 Bush. Bitumen 2 Bush cannot guarantee the availability of the requested exchange stock. If the new requested style is out of stock or at a greater cost than the original return, you will be issued a refund, including postage costs if only the returned item was purchased. Purchases that include multiple items not being returned or exchanged, will not receive a postage refund.

Returns due to damage/faulty or incorrect items shipped

We personally pack all orders at Bitumen 2 Bush to ensure the products you receive meet our exact quality standards and are as ordered. However, if you do receive a faulty or damaged product or an incorrectly shipped item, please contact us to arrange return delivery for a replacement or refund. A refund for postage costs is only applicable where only the damaged/faulty or incorrect item was shipped. Purchases that include multiple items not being returned or exchanged, will not receive a postage refund.

Consumer Guarantees

You have statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law that are in addition to, and are not limited by our policies, or by any other statement or comment we might make. If a consumer guarantee is not met, for example if a product is not of acceptable quality, is not fit for its purpose or is different from its description or sample, then you may be eligible for a refund, exchange or to be compensated for any drop in value of the product (if you keep it). If the issue with the product is a minor one, we may choose to offer you a free repair of the product. The consumer guarantees do not apply where, after sale, the product is damaged through misuse or abnormal use.

To make a claim under the consumer guarantees, you will need to return the item to us and provide proof of purchase. We expect the proof you provide to include some specific reference to the item your claim relates to or the specific amount paid for the item.

PAYMENTS & FREIGHT

​

Freight

Bitumen 2 Bush offers Australia Post Standard Parcel Post and Express Post options during order processing. Before finalising purchase, you will be advised of this charge, or advise of free postage eligibility, and the approximate time for delivery. The delivery charge represents the actual cost of having the goods delivered to your stated delivery address.

Order Processing

Orders received prior to 12pm (AEST) on a Tasmanian business day, will be shipped within 1 business day of receipt of the order, once valid payment is confirmed. 

To determine your approximate delivery time see the attached Australia Post delivery time table for your local post code delivery times.

For orders received after 12pm (AEST) on a Tasmanian business day, these orders may be processed and shipped as if they had been received the following day.

Orders received for items not currently in stock, will endeavour to be dispatched within 1 business day of receipt of stock. 

Any delays to shipping will be notified by return to the email provided during order processing.

Payment Terms

Payment types accepted are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Diners Club. Transactions will be billed in Australian dollars. You will need to submit your credit card details at the time the order is placed on the website. A confirmation email will be sent to confirm goods purchased and value of order.

Bitumen 2 Bush do not currently accept PayPal, AfterPay or Zip as payment options, however we reserve the right to introduce these options at any time.

On completion of check out, you authorise Bitumen 2 Bush to debit the order value amount from your nominated credit card.

If your nominated credit card is declined by your financial institution, we will not be able to guarantee the delivery of the goods, and may contact you to make alternative payment and delivery arrangements.

We may decide at any time not to accept payment from you by credit card for any reason. If we decline to accept payment, we will not process the order and will contact you to inform you that your order will not be processed. 

If the purchased item/s are delayed, you will be contacted via email to advise that the item/s have been placed on back order and the expected delivery time. You will be given the option to either cancel the order or wait until the backordered item/s are back in stock.
